Here is my finished shrug using Caron simply soft yarn in "watermelon" colour Thanks to Fiona for the yarn (we had our own private swap) I think i would prefer this shrug just a tad longer, but it was a fab and easy pattern and i enjoyed it more than the purple shrug i made. Hope ya like!

| Ariane April 12, 2006 07:08 PM PDT hallo Angie, wunderful colour, a cute shrug. May I ask you, what hook and wool you took? Oh, my English is terrible, please forgive me. Would you please answer me to: pegari@web.de I would be so happy. Maybe I can crochet such a nice shrug for me, too. Happy easter and best regards Ariane | ||
| Angie April 13, 2006 10:04 PM PDT Hya Ariane i used a size 5.00mm hook (i think) and i used "caron simply soft brites" | ||
| Tina May 15, 2006 03:43 PM PDT I am making that same exact shrug, in almost the same exact color! Mine I am making out of Micro Spun. Now that I see it works in Simply Soft, I will go buy some of that (it's a lot less expensive!) Your shrug turned out gorgeous! (I, too, would like it a tad bit longer, too.) | ||
| Angie May 15, 2006 11:17 PM PDT Ohhh Tina do let me know when you finished it ;) | ||

| kathyinmaine August 12, 2006 10:47 AM PDT I love your shrug! I was wondering where to get the pattern? I really like this one with sleves. Sometimes shrugs have a droopy underarm. This one is beautiful. kathyinmaine@peoplepc.com | ||
| Angie September 13, 2006 06:13 PM PDT Thank you kathyinmaine, the pattern is from Leasure Arts called "simply shrugs" hope this helps :) | ||
